JODY GAIDA
MSW, BSW, RSW
Jody is a graduate of the University of Calgary Clinical Masters of Social Work program and has worked in numerous settings including hospitals, schools, community clinics and crisis teams. Jody's focus has been in the area of mental health; working with both acute and chronic mental illness. She has experience working with individuals, couples and families. Jody has had the privilege to support a vast array of clients, from various ages, cultures, sexual and gender orientations, ethnicities, and spiritual beliefs. She practices through the lens of trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches. She has been trained in and offers a range of therapeutic approaches including, narrative theory, solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems, attachment science, EMDR, existential psychotherapy, Ketamine assisted psychotherapy, trauma-informed yoga and somatic experiencing.
